1. Overview
A Kenya Multiple Entry eTA, valid for five years, allows U.S. citizen travelers to enter and exit Kenya multiple times without the need to reapply during that period.
A valid eTA is mandatory to board the flight to Kenya. The eTA application is completed and submitted online. After approval, travelers receive their eTA confirmation electronically.
2. Required Documents
Before beginning your application, please make sure you have the following documents ready;
- A valid American or Canadian passport with at least 6 months’ validity and one blank page
- A recent selfie or passport-style photo
- Contact details (email address and phone number)
- Travel itinerary (arrival and departure details)
- Accommodation booking confirmation
- A valid payment card (credit/debit card, etc.)
Depending on your country and travel history, you may also need;
- A Yellow Fever Certificate if coming from endemic countries
- Other vaccination or test result certificates.

3. How to Apply
Kenya eTA applications must be completed only through the official website Kenya Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) with each traveler applying separately.
The application types include;
- Individual Application: If you're applying alone
- Group Application: Applying for up to 6 people, such as family, couples, friends, or a company on behalf of employees. Group applications save time but require meeting eligibility criteria.
Complete the application online and submit it at least 5 business days in advance before travel. Once approved, your eTA confirmation will be emailed to you.
4. Application Cost and Fees
The fees vary based on the type of travel application and processing option chosen.

6. Validity
