1. Permanent Residency by Ex-Citizens of Kenya
This is a permanent residency certificate issued to citizens born in Kenya who subsequently renounced or lost their citizenship and were denied dual citizenship by their country of residence. Children and spouses of these applicants may also apply.

How to apply for permanent residency for ex-Kenyan citizens?
- Create an account on the Foreign Nationals Services (eFNS) portal.
- Sign in to your newly created account.
- Click the "Submit New Application" tab.
- Navigate to "Permanent Residence Services" then select the "Permanent Residence" tab.
- Once processed, an invoice will be generated. Access it by clicking "Dashboard" and then "Payments."
- 6. If unable to pay online, print your registration form from "Dashboard" "My Applications."
- Submit your application with all requirements to the Immigration office in Nairobi or the Kenya Overseas Mission in your country of origin for payment and processing.
