Linking a business involves transferring your manual company records to the Business Registration Service (BRS) online platform. This process is necessary for businesses registered before 2016 that require the official search of company details, known as CR12. This guide shows you how to link your business online easily.
1. Visit the Business Registration Services (BRS) on eCitizen Portal

Begin by logging into the account of the directors, director-shareholder, or appointed company secretaries at Business Registration Services using your username and password.
Select the menu tab "Link Business."
2. Enter Business Name or Business Registration Number

Here, you will need to enter either the name or registration number of your business and then click search.
3. Update and Edit the Company Details

Once you have located your business, select it and proceed by clicking next.
You will be directed to Edit Details where you must input essential business information such as Business Name, Registration Number, Registration Type, and Registration Date.
After entering these details, click save and continue.
4. Update the Business with Current Information

- Articles of Association :Provide information regarding the nature of your business along with its capacity.
- Registered Office Address :Enter details about the registered office addresses ensuring all required fields are completed accurately.
- Share Information : Fill the share-related information by specifying Share Category, number of shares, and their respective values.
- Directors and Shareholders : Input detailed information for all Directors/shareholders including personal details as well as shares and Beneficial Ownership Information. Save these entries before proceeding.
- Beneficial Owners :Finally, download the auto-generated Beneficial Ownership Information Form for signing.
- Application Documents : Upload and submit the application signed form for review and processing.
